Fun Bike Ride

Our Annual Bike Ride has, once again, proved to be a huge success!

This year saw a record number of entries with 234 people turning up to cycle.
All ages and abilities took part in the ride with 60 cyclists taking part in the 10 mile ride, many of which were families with children on tagalongs or tandems, and over 70 riders doing the 60 miler.
Several youngsters also completed the 25 mile ride on their own bikes; the youngest just 8 years old!

We also had 26 volunteers help out on the day, most of them multi-tasking: from booking people in to checking people out, manning the check points and serving tea and cakes, we couldn't do it without you!

Thank you to all those who entered and to all that have raised sponsorship money; our current total stands at just over £5000, which is a all time record.

Very impressive and such great weather compared to the pouring rain earlier in the day. Great to see everyone. We managed 10 miles in 2.5 hours...we would have gone faster but my 3 year old, couldn't reach her pedals on her tag-a-long!
