The following individuals have agreed to be members of the Committee with effect from the AGM in 2009 up to and including the AGM in 2010, when all the posts will be up for re-election:
| Tracy Lee Chair  |
Tracy has been a member of the Group for the past 3 years and took over from Sally Renny at the AGM in 2008. Tracy is married to John, our Treasurer, and they have a 6 year old son, Will, who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and Coeliac Disease at the age of 2½. |
| Nicki Spilman Secretary and Treasurer  |
Nicki has been on the Committee for the past 3 years and took over as Secretary at the 2008 AGM. She is married with 3 children, the eldest of which, Alice, has Type 1 Diabetes and Coeliac Disease. Nicki and her family live in Stourbridge. |
Julie Wilde Publicity Officer  |
Julie joined the Committee in 2008 following the diagnosis of her young son, Finley, with Type 1 diabetes the previous December. Julie lives in Stourbridge with her husband and three boys. |
| Stephen Nicholas Safeguarding Officer  |
Steve joined the Committee at the AGM in 2008 after his son, Daniel, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in August 2007. Steve is currently our safeguarding Officer and is married with two children and lives in Stourton. |
Adrian Raine Committee Member  |
Adrian has had Type 1 for 28 years - since he was 17 |
Andy Miles Committee Member  |
Andy joined the committee in 2009 after moving into the area. Andy was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2005 and controls his condition with insulin injections and Metformin. Andy Lives in Wordsley with his wife, Laura. |
Simon Hanson Committee Member  |
Simon was diagnosed with Type 1 in August 2006 at the age of 35. When he was diagnosed his blood sugar was 67 but for the last 2 ½ years he has been very lucky to keep all his HbA1C's between 5.1% - 5.8%, hard work does pay off & reduce the risk of complications.
